For the third time you will have the chance to visit Dansk Sintermetal A/S at Subcon.
Dansk Sintermetal A/S is a Danish sub supplier of sintered components in iron, steel, stainless steel, bronze, copper and copper based alloys, to leading European OEM manufactures. We also manufacture sintered components in SMC (Soft Magnetic Composites).
Besides the pressing and sintering we offer secondary operations on the sintered components such as sizing, machining, plastic impregnation, surface treatment, heat treatment etc.
The sintered components are made according to customer specifications and a wide variety of shapes and sizes will be on display at the exhibition.
If you are looking for complex geometries and special properties a sintered component could be your solution.
Among the exhibited components you will find several components for mechanical door locks. On these components the customer often have very high demands for the mechanical properties. You will also see sintered components for clutches and brakes, pneumatic and electrical hand tools, welding equipment etc.
Self lubricating bronze and steel bearings and filters in bronze and stainless steel are also a part of our product programme.
Another thing, which Dansk Sintermetal A/S has on display at the exhibition, is components manufactured in Soft Magnetic Composites (SMC). It is an iron powder, where every single powder particle is coated with a thin, isolating layer. Using this material you obtain soft magnetic components with a low eddy current loss and a 3-dimensional flux. An example could be powder pressed stator cores for electro motors, which traditionally are manufactured in laminated iron. By getting components powder pressed in Soft Magnetic Composites (SMC) you achieve new design possibilities and a lower price.
Sintered components are normally considered to be best suited for large-scale production but also short runs - from a few thousands a year and more - can be an interesting business and is one of Dansk Sintermetal A/S’ specialities.
Our quality management system is certified according to ISO 9001:2008 and our environmental management system is certified according to ISO 14001.
The tools are made in our own tooling department and if you like to know more about the properties of the material, we can offer you prototypes in the right sintered material.
