We design, tool, manufacture, assemble and pack injection-moulded plastic parts for over 1,500 customers in the UK and the rest of the world.
We offer help during every stage of the manufacturing process, from the prototype and tooling stages through to small batch runs and full manufacture.
Our moulding machines range from 15 tons to 260 tons which means we can run virtually any mould tool you may be currently placing elsewhere. Our large number of moulding machines, combined with a 24 hour per day manufacturing operation, enables us to confidently offer reduced lead times and faster deliveries to you.
As an experienced moulder, we supply a diverse range of clients and provide custom mouldings to a wide variety of industries and sectors that includes: aerospace, automotive, defence, engineering, mining, office stationery etc. In recent years, we have also experienced an increase in our cleanroom-based medical and biomedical component manufacture — to find out more about our cleanroom-based moulding visit our medical website (www.dataplasticsmedical.co.uk).
Our operating system complies with BS EN ISO 9001-2008 and is backed by our experienced team of quality assurance engineers and inspectors who continually monitor and control our production and manufacturing processes.
Tooling and Prototyping
Our experienced team of tool makers can specify, design and make your tooling in-house. However, if it is more cost effective, we can also use our equally experienced overseas tool supplier. Tooling is supplied at cost price and is always 100% yours — this avoids any part tooling deals designed to restrict your freedom to change supplier.
Our team can provide an in-house CAD design facility with full prototyping service. From any 3D CAD drawing, we can also offer you access to the latest in 3D prototyping — easily the quickest way to see and test your product for the minimum of cost outlay.
Throughout the tool-making and prototyping phase, our tool makers and specialist engineers are always on hand to offer help, advice and assist in the development of your custom part.
