About Us

NLM & Sons, the company was founded following the demise of Alfred Herbert in the 1980's. The company located itself in Edgwick Park Industrial Estate in the manufacturing capital‚ of the UK; Coventry.

The company began in a small workshop with few machines and limited resources. From the outset NLM set of to specialise in the manufacture of turned parts for the then expanding automotive industry. After a few years of gradual growth, NLM took its first step in becoming the business it is today. They moved into their own premises in Godiva Industrial Estate and invested further in CNC machinery.

The company continued to develop and build a strong customer base, after which they purchased another premises due to the growing demand for their services. Both plants are now equipped with CNC machines offering full machining facility from turning, milling, drilling and balancing of turned components.

The company is ISO 9001:2008 accredited and has expanded across two premises within the Foleshill area of Coventry which currently house over 30 machines.
