Based in Manchester for the past 50 years, our specialist Hard Chrome and Electroless Nickel facilities provide some of the largest capacities in Europe. These are used to provide Corrosion and/or Wear resistant coatings designed to extend the life in-service and to protect the valuable resource that the equipment represents.
The Chrome department processes components from a few grams in weight and up to 5 Tonnes by utilising any one of 22 individual vat circuits. The range of sizes handled in a typical day are from a few millimetres to a massive 8500mm long!
Our services are used by major industry leaders in Oil & Gas exploration and Production based around the world. To facilitate the movement of this equipment we hold UK Customs authorisation to Inward Duty Suspension to enable temporary importation while coatings and repairs are completed.
Our coatings are used in Automotive, Hydraulics (valves & cylinders), Pipelines (valves & fittings), Pumps, Mould Tools, Rolls (steel, paper, textile, printing), Areospace and Military equipment.
Architectural features for buildings and some modern sculptures can be enhanced with our coatings processes as well as the Buildings Services equipment such as HVAC, Lifts, Escallators, etc.
Catering equipment - especially in the commercial sector - benefit from hard coatings to protect hot-plates and grills in use and also provide an element of non-stick ability.
