Thormac Engineering is a plastics injection moulding business that has been manufacturing in Ireland since 1979. We are one of several speciality plastics companies within the One51 Environmental Services Group.
We provide quality injection moulding manufacturing to medium and high technology companies and we specialise in large parts whilst being able to cater for low volumes. Industries served include, but are not limited to, the Automotive, Construction, Medical, Electrical, Transportation and Consumer Products sectors.
Our state of the art facility boasts seventeen machines including the only 2700 tonne injection moulding machine in Ireland. With this vast array of capital equipment we can support a wide range of plastics manufacturing from traditional injection moulding to gas assisted injection moulding, silicone moulding and product expansion using thermo set polyethylene.
We also provide a finishing service with our own hot foil printing capability in house as well as value added services such as project management, electro-mechanical assembly, sub-assembly and hardware integration.
Using our collective industry based knowledge we offer the most appropriate solution for the product based on our customer’s requirements, the demands of the application and the cost point of the product. We have been accredited to ISO9001:2008 since 2001 and our extensive design team can support everything from product design and prototyping to tool design and manufacture.
