Presspart brings precision deep-drawn components to Subcon 2009

Monday, June 01, 2009

Presspart, a division of the Heitkamp & Thumann Group, will be exhibiting its range of specialist deep-drawn metal components and unveiling the company’s inspiring new image at the International Subcontract Manufacturing Show, Subcon, in Birmingham (UK) from 9-11 June 2009 on stand G100. Presspart’s products include special-purpose components for a wide variety of industries and applications – from electronics to utilities, heating and ventilation.

Presspart has specialised for over 35 years in using deep-drawn technology to manufacture high quality, high volume, metal components that require specialist production to precise standards. The company’s processes include extremely long draws, ironed walls, multiple piercings and complex forms, and its capabilities extend to products from many different materials, including aluminium, stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, nickel, inconel and galfan.  The deep-drawn process is also more cost effective than more labour intensive and costly modes such as swaging or machining.

“We are very excited about revealing our new image at Subcon,” said Sam Bonney, Speciality Division Sales Manager. “It reflects our focus on innovation and continuous development which, ultimately, allows us to provide whatever our customers need from deep-drawn components.”
