Industrial powder coatings specialist Thermaset has made a significant investment in the upgrading and expansion of its business over the past 18 month as part of its ongoing commitment to growth.

As part of a concerted sales push throughout 2017, the company will be promoting its problem solving capability at Subcon (Stand B21) at the NEC from June 6-8.

Commercial Manager Nigel Crane commented: “Whilst all companies have been mindful of Brexit and the possible impact on the economy and their individual sectors, it is important not to stand still. Therefore we are committed to investing in the infrastructure of the business and will adapt to any new trading conditions and plan accordingly.

“Work on the first stage of a two phase development at our Claire Works facility in Tamworth began in January this year and has now been completed. This comprised the conversion of a vacant two storey building to provide a plush reception area, administration office centre, board and meeting rooms, as well as a training facility.”

The second phase of the development is due to be completed around July/August and includes the updating and doubling the size of the existing laboratory and a reception showroom.

Nigel Crane added: “Our products are renowned for their stability and reliability; and stock colour orders can be fulfilled and delivered to the door within 24 hours. For bespoke orders – however complex the task – we guarantee formulation and manufacture of a unique new powder coating within ten working days.

“UK customers benefit from dealing with us – as opposed to a foreign manufacturer - as the supply chain is inevitably shorter. We have an experienced and knowledgeable technical team who are able to answer customer enquiries directly ensuring that they are not passed from pillar to post looking for an answer,” he commented.
