Cyber security in manufacturing

The manufacturing sector is no stranger to a challenging trading environment. It is already dealing with the pressures of digitalisation, talent retention and supply chain issues all while needing remain competitive Add to this the global COVID-19 pandemic and Brexit and it’s now more vital than ever that they build agility into their processes and workforce to stay ahead.

The pandemic has sharpened the focus on cyber security in the sector; a combination of increased remote working, and the likelihood of cyber-attacks has pushed cyber security up the agenda.
In the heat of the pandemic and over the next six months, response and recovery plans, the coordination of data privacy and security, and improving governance and access are all priority areas of focus.
