I joined Leonardo Helicopters in 2010 as an apprentice qualifying as a skilled electrical fitter and working on the build of the AW101 Platform. In 2018 I moved from the shop floor to work in the Obsolescence management department where I rose to the position of Principal lead Obsolescence Engineer on the AW101, Seaking, AW159 and Lynx platforms. In 2023 I took on my current role as the Support Policy Development Manager for the UK MoD Merlin fleet where I am responsible for improving availability, reducing maintenance burdens and ensuring that the platform is sustainable. I have a MSc in Through life System Sustainment and I have achieved MIIOM status and MRAeS status in 2023. Fun fact: I am a 2nd Dan Blackbelt in taekwondo!
