How can I stay updated on any changes or announcements about the show?

Stay updated by regularly checking the Subcon Show website, subscribing to the event newsletter as well as following our social media, Linkedin, Facebook and X.  Any significant changes or important updates will be communicated directly to exhibitors via email.

I've been receiving emails from external companies. Are they legitimate?

Here at MA Exhibitions (organisers of Subcon), we have recently become aware of a series of fraudulent emails to speakers and exhibitors from companies claiming to be officially partnered with the show, offering marketing services, access to the show's data and/or hotel reservation services. We are not in any way affiliated with these companies and advise you to ignore their emails and avoid clicking on any links contained within them. Your security is important to us, so if you're unsure whether or not an email you have received is fraudulent, please get in touch and we'd be happy to verify it for you. We would also like to reassure you that we do not release, sell or share any data related to Subcon with any outside parties.

 

Visitors and Registration 

Is there a cost to attend the Subcon?

Attendance at the Subcon is free for all visitors. Keep an eye out for registration opening for Subcon 2025. In the mean time you can register your interest here.

Who should attend?

This is a must-attend event for manufacturing professionals from all industry sectors who wish to benchmark new and existing suppliers and develop new partnerships.

Can I bring a colleague with me to Subcon?

Absolutely! The event is a great opportunity for team members to learn and network together. 

Will there be any technical workshops or seminars?

Yes, the event features a variety of technical workshops and seminars led by industry experts. These sessions cover various topics, from manufacturing processes to advanced engineering solutions, providing valuable insights and knowledge to attendees.

Can children attend?

Children under the age of 18 are allowed to attend the event if they are supervised by an adult. However, please note that children under the age of 16, including babies, are not permitted to enter the conference theatres.

How do I register?

Registration is FREE, quick and easy! Registration for Subcon 2024 has passed but keep an eye out for Subcon 2025, in the mean time you can register your interest here 

Where do I get my entrance badge from?

Once you register online, your entrance lanyard will be given to you at the door!

Where to eat and drink?

The hall features coffee areas and a cafe where meals are available, and The NEC is equipped with a range of restaurants, cafes and bars. To see the full list, please visit the NEC website.

Are dogs allowed?

The NEC welcomes all guidance and assistance dogs. No other dogs/pets are permitted.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there is ample parking available at the NEC for a fee.

Are there any amenities at the NEC?

The NEC offers a variety of amenities including restaurants, cafes, restrooms, ATMs, and Wi-Fi access. 

Do I need to register for Workshops & Conferences?

No! Just check out or full programme and join as you wish! Our 2025 programme will be live shortly. 

Are Conferences and Workshops free?

Yes! All our workshops and conferences are free to attend.

How can I find a specific exhibitor?

The Subcon Show website and provides a detailed floor plan and exhibitor list to help you locate specific companies. You can also get a printed guide at the event.

The NEC has clear signposted links with the motorway network. M1, M6, M40 and M42. There is on-site parking with a regular bus service running from the car parks to the exhibition entrance.

The NEC is served by Birmingham International station has a covered walkway directly to the venue.

Birmingham International Airport, which is conveniently situated a few minutes from the NEC, services scheduled flights from 34 national and international destinations.
Bus/Coach

Bus/Coach

National Express and Megabus coach services run daily across the UK to Birmingham Airport. From Birmingham Airport you can get to the NEC via the free air-rail link, which takes just 90 seconds and runs every two minutes.
